Angelica Maria Vale Hartman, known professionally by the name Angelica Vale, is a Mexican-American actor, singer impersonator comic and radio host. She is often referred to being the child of Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico and the mother of comic Raul Vale. She is credited with launching La Balada Ranchera, a musical genre that topped charts in 1973 and led Angelica Maria to become the first Latin artist to have sold 2 millions of albums in the United States. She got to know Venezuelan comedian/singer Raul Vale in 1974. They got married in April of 1975. This was the first wedding to be broadcast across Mexico.
